Cannot create an vault via WebDAV in mailbox.org-drive, neither from desktop(linux) nor from Android

Hello,

I cannot create an vault via WebDAV in my mailbox.org-drive neither from desktop nor from Android.

A) Desktop:
I use cryptomator version 1.14.0 (flatpak-1) on linux mint 22.0 (kernel 6.8.0-45).
The mailbox-drive is mounted in home/user/mborg.
After password creation I always get an error:

Error Code 91OE:CFA7:CFA7

B) Android:

Device Info

Cryptomator v1.10.3 (2939) F-Droid
Android 14 / API34
Device Pixel 4a

Unfortunately, same problem. After creation of the password I can see a message: Authentification failed.
The creation of the WebDAV connection to mailbox.org (https://dav.mailbox.org/servlet/webdav.infostore/) is successful.

I have no ideas about the reason and how I can create an vault in the drive.
I am thankful for all help and information.

Hello,

yesterday I tried to create vaults on the top level - the level which is shown after entering the vault name.
This is not possible.
Vaults can only be created in the folder “public infostore” or in the subfolder of “Userstore”.

Hi,

There is a program for Android that may help you. It can also connect to webdav Cloud drives and may or may not work better than the built-in web dev client for your particular server.

The problem is there’s a bug in the current version that prevents it from being usable with kryptonator and there’s a test build available that works and I will post when the production version is available for you to test with.

The program is called rsaf and currently only a test build works so I will post when it goes to release.
