Can we use cryptomator and nextcloud android apps together to automatically upload encrypted pictures?

Hi,

I’m trying to figure out what is the best way to configure my cloud storage.
Almost went for a nextcloud option until I realized client side encryption is not really ready to be used.
Then I found cryptomator and it sounds great.
My question, which I haven’t been able to find the answer for: Can you actually use the nextcloud and the cryptomator android apps together to automatically encrypt and upload the pictures you take with the phone to the nextcloud server?

Thanks!

I gue

You can access your vault stored on the Nextcloud service using our WebDAV implementation. Furthermore you can only use features, which are currently available in our app. We just implemented the auto photo upload in Cryptomator for Android but this feature is not yet released.

It will be available in the next weeks for beta testing. You can join our beta testers using this link: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/org.cryptomator

Stay tuned

What about the iphone version?
Will iphone users be able to do the same?

Yes it will but not yet.
You can track this feature using the following github issue: cryptomator-ios#20
