Can Cryptomator, along with encrypted files, be migrated to a new disk using Disk Image Backup and Restore software.?

I run disk image backups nightly using Macrium Reflect. It backs up used disk space. If I need to restore a Disk image after a crash, would Cryptomator and all my encrypted files be restored in the process?

  • Is a sector-by-sector backup required? Or is backing up used disk space sufficient? (Currently, it only backs up used space)
  • Anything else need be done to be able to restore Cryptomator on a new drive?

A cryptomator vault is nothing else than a bunch of files and folders. You can just backup and restore them the same way you do with all your other files. But keep in mind that a vault has to be complete (all files available) to show all its content if you open it.
