Hi I see a decent amount of people complaining about not being able to access there locked files making me worried about using the software. I did try it with tiny small files and it works fine however i am looking to encrypt files that will be around 14TB so how likely i might run into issue like that ??
Well, as with all software, bad things can happen, although I’m using Cryptomator for years now without issues. That’s why I always have a at least one backup in place to cover all risks of data loss, including issues with Cryptomator. Please keep in mind, Cryptomator is to cover privacy risks, not to cover data loss risks.

Encryption is a required feature of any back up, even offline on a hard drive. All these programs say make sure you have a back up somewhere else.
