I can unlock a vault but cannot open the file. This is an Excel spreadsheet file. The vault unlocks and files open perfectly on Win 11, but not with Ubuntu.
The vault is stored on Google Drive, and reading that this may be a problem for Cryptomator I have also created a local vault but the error persists.
Did you ever manage to resolve this issue?
Yah I’ve been wondering too actually I just noticed that I forgot to ask what software he’s using to connect to Google because that matters. There are more than one way is to connect to Google One Way syncs the files and another does not.
The ones that synchronize the files tend to have the most problems.
This can be a problem of sandbox issue of the opening app.
LibreOffice can be installed as a snap package. Those packages are restricted to the user home folder/documents folder. A Cryptomator Vault is mounted in ~/.local/Cryptomator/mnt. Choose a different location/mount point for the unlocked vault in the vault options and try again.
