This does not appear to be an error with non-Cryptomator folders.

You are very likely affected by bug "No permissions" when copy/paste into Vault · Issue #3207 · cryptomator/cryptomator · GitHub.
A new version containing a fix will be released very soon. You can already try our beta out:
