Nvidia display driver crashes when Cryptomator starts (Windows)

I can’t start Cryptomator anymore because the display driver (nvidia, 417.22) crashes immediately. Afterwards, the Cryptomator window is just empty.

Windows logs:
Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered.

mhm, interesting.
Im using the same Nvidia Driver Version on Windows 10 Pro (1803) and do not have any issues.

The Cryptomators UI is based on JavaFX.
Due to your log, the JavaFX application stopped

09:28:47.663 [JavaFX Application Thread] INFO o.c.launcher.MainApplication - JavaFX application stopped.

I guess this is causing the problems. Unfortunately I cannot detect from you logs whats exactly the reason for that. But it looks similar to this:

@Alexander69 you said you solved your issues, but unfortunately you didn’t go into details what was causing this and how you fixed it. Can you help?

Since then I installed the new windows 10 update. On the next reboot, the system froze up completely when I tried to start Cryptomator, so that I had to do a hard reset.
On the reboot after that, it worked fine. So I’m not sure whether the problem is solved or not… I’ll post again if something happens.

do you know which windows update you installed? I am having this exact same issue and it is driving me crazy.

I’m about ready to just do a clean install
