Is it safe to use the same vault from both Windows and Linux?

Hello,
I have a cryptomator vault on my Windows NTFS partition, that I access through Windows. Since I dual-boot Windows and Linux, I am wondering whether it is safe to open that vault from Linux as well.
I am worried about the version incompatibilities corrupting the vault – I don’t want to lose my data.
Is this safe to do?

Then I highly recommend doing backups. Cryptomator purpose is to cover privacy risks. The only way to cover risk of data loss is to have a serious backup strategy.
I recommend a 3-2-1 backup with file versioning (or anything similar the lets you recover older versions of files)
