Why folder "m" is empty? Why is not empty the other time?

As the title says why the folder “m” is empty? I understand it stands for metadata but for some reason it is empty.

On the contrary, when I made another container it had many sub folders under this folder.

Does it mean that sometimes the metadata is made and sometime don’t?

Hi Browny.

This is normal.

Not all files require metadata. Its created when files have very long names/paths or special characters etc.
