Ive made some edits to docs in my vault as i usually would. I tried to lock the vault and i get the error message. Ive seen this before, but this was when files were syncing. Currently, no files are being synced and it has now been several days and the vault will still not lock.
I dont want to force lock as it may corrupt or revert changes ive made.
How should this be fixes?
Using your system’s task manager, close all the programs that you used to access your decrypted files. Like your file manager, browser, etc. Then the vault should close without problems.
If that doesn’t work I would suggest copying the encrypted vault to another location, decrypt it, and check if all your files are safe. If yes, then you can force lock the vault safely. At the end you would still have a copy of your vault.
