Storing the password with touchID

Hi,

I use the iOS app with iCloud and I store the password on the device with touchID. It works fine, however I would not appreciate Apple backing up the password or copying it anywhere outside of my phone. It would defeat the purpose of encrypting files stored on iCloud.

Do you know if I have to use specific settings and if I can trust Apple not to start thinking I want to backup my password?

You can make the complete iOS keychain “offline”, but this will not only affect the cryptomator password you saved in it. All information of the keychain will be only available on your device. For example Wlan, credit card etc.
