SMB/WebDav problem fixed by Apple?

Hi there,

the lastest update to macOS High Sierra 10.13.3 shows an interesting remark in the release notes:
“Resolves an issue that could cause your Mac to stop responding when connected to an SMB server” (just in the English version, it’s missing in the German version, source: https://9to5mac.com/2018/01/23/macos-10-13-3/)

Is that a fix for that problem?

Maybe someone’s into a retest.

I tried again yesterday after applying the patch. The problem is still there. I believe they said it’s a WebDAV thing, not SMB. So, I still can’t use Cryptomator.

Also, I’m not sure what happened and when, but I was the one that started this thread. I don’t remember creating a new account, but my password manager says I’m now Subdevil instead of Submarine89.

I can confirm that the issue persists with macOS 10.13.3.

For the record, the issue persists in 10.13.4 (17E160e)
