Save password using KDE Plasma 5.18

Hey guys,
i googled around and found out, that cryptomator 1.5.0 can save passwords when using gnome-keyring. I have a laptop with debian 10 an xfce an gnome-keyring - and it works.

But i also use Ubuntu 20.04 with KDE Plasma 5.18 and kwallet. Is there any soulution to save passwords here too?

No. At least not by Cryptomator. The save password feature is only implemented for the gnome-keyring.

We are using an open-source library for the gnome-keyring implementation and there was a short discussion on the integration of kwallet:

[question] Can I connect to kwallet as well?

The gist is: We’d need to check if there are other existing libraries or if someone could make a new library (the secret-service library was actually born here as an incredible open-source contribution).
