Recurring pop-ups to check for updates, although check for updates automatically is disabled

I turned off “check for updates automatically”, because I update automatically via WinGet. Nonetheless I receive these Recurring pop-ups to check for updates once or automatically.

This is a confusing behavior of the app I always get distracted when I’m doing something else on my computer.

Can this be fixed please? Maybe thru a second checkbox in the updates section: “Don’t prompt to check for updates”.
