Just installed Cryptomator and i have a stupid question.
Do i need to keep Vault Unlocked while uploading data to the cloud or can i lock it

No, uploading the encrypted data is a completely different thing. For example, you might choose to not even upload the data to the cloud. You can lock the vault as soon as the copy/move of files is finished. Cloud sync is up to you.
