How do I host my local cryptomator vault for access in other devices on the same network?

Hi, I’m wondering how I can host my cryptomator vault, so that I can access it on other devices via FTP/WebDAV/or anything else. I tried Filezilla but couldn’t add it as a shared folder. I also tried accessing it via WebDAV on other devices by using the local network IP but it doesn’t connect.

Any suggestions?

Cryptomator in a LAN:

You can use Cryptomator with the same vault unlocked on multiple PCs simultaneously. Doesn’t matter if the backing storage is on a LAN or WAN. When two people edit the same file in the same vault at the same time, there will be synchronization conflicts of course. Or do you mean a different scenario: Have multiple PCs in a LAN connect to the WebDAV share of one single Cryptomator process running on one machine? In this case the answer is no. To summarize: Cryptomator doesn’t allow WebDAV access from others hosts for security reasons. However, you can use Cryptomator CLI and explicitly expose the port to specific subnets.
