Hey everybody,
I know the purpose of Cryptomator is mainly to support encryption of files stored in the cloud. ️ However, if you take those iXpand drives for example, which can be used on both computers and iOS devices: all files on that drive are unencrypted … if you lose it, you may get some trouble. Sandisk offers a solution for encrypting the files on the Desktop AND in the iOS App, but it is closed source and requires Java to be installed.
It would be awesome if you would add support for the flash drive protocol in Cryptomator for iOS. I’m not sure if there is an API from Apple about how to communicate with flash drives connected to iOS, but there are tons of apps doing that and it seems they are interoperable which might mean there is a common protocol used underneath.
