Error occurred when trying to write in a optimized way

When trying to write to my unlocked virtual drive I repeated am receiving the following error message, “Error occurred when trying to write in a optimized way.” Some part(s) of your hardware might not support that. Try to disable “Automatically detect read/write strategy in core settings”.

I do not see this setting in the main setting window. Where would I find a method to disable this?

this is not an error message of Cryptomator, but of your application. You have to search in the documentation of the app which sends the write requests.

In general Cryptomator does not offer the feature to change the write strategy.
