End-to-End Encryption with synchronization between two Laptops

Hello everybody

I have a short question regarding the synchronization between two Laptops using Cryptomator.

Is it possible to use the open vault at the same time on both laptops? So, that both users see the files, but the synchronization using OneDrive is encrypted?

I’d like to share our family pictures that way.

Is it possible to use the open vault at the same time on both laptops?

Yes. Cryptomator encrypts your files on-the-fly, i.e. they always stay encrypted on your harddrive/cloud and will only be decrypted on demand. Hence, the access location of your vault is only a decrypted view onto your encrypted files.
