Cryptomator caching? Does anyone have details?

Does anyone have details on how Cryptomator does its caching and where it is stored?

I have a network drive on my NAS where I have a Cryptomator vault. This is on a gigabit network so it has a max speed of around 125MB, but when I transfer files to/from the vault I’m getting around 650MB read and 360MB write, which indicates that Cryptomator is first caching files somewhere locally, or in RAM.

I’m trying to figure out the resiliency of the cache. If my NAS disconnects mid transfer, could files be lost/corrupted? What about if my computer crashes during the transfer? etc.

Any info appreciated.
