Used to be able to backup my decrypted folders and files when CR vault was opened to a directory folder. But now it opens as a virtual drive which my backup software does not see. When did this change happen? I have made no changes on my end – my vault backups just stopped running smoothly (would get an error message). I’d like my vault contents to open in a directoy folder instaed of as a virtual drive so I can re-enable my backup tool
Cryptomator vaults always were mounted as virtual drives. There was no recent change to that.
You can switch between the virtual file systems by changing the volume type.
Thanks Michael - it’s been a long time since I set things up so maybe my memory is foggy. The other thing that threw mee off was the mounting options popup was cut off at the bottom which specifies which directory and folder to put the vault – found it! Got it working!
