Have Cryptomator not have a local copy on my computer but only dropbox, google drive, or whatever cloud storage I use?

I basically want cryptomator to encrypt the files on the cloud storage but still be able to see them unencrypted locally on my computer or mobile device. Is that possible ? Like be able to read them from the cloud storage.

Doubt this is possible but wanted to ask.

No this is not possible.
If you want to „read“ encrypted files, you have to decrypt them.
Cryptomator is designed for End2End encryption, so the decryption also is done local.
